Warsaw, Fabryka Trzciny Arts Centre

Martyna Kosecka took part in a project organised by Little Warsaw Autumn Festival, a music theater for children: “Mr Pebblestone in the world of sounds. A visit to Warsaw Autumn”. Concert was prepared by composition students of Music Academy in Krakow, and led by charismatic conductor Maciej Koczur.

Martyna Kosecka and Idin Samimi Mofakham, founders of Spectro Centre for New Music, have led the workshop called “Fundamentals of music improvisation”, which took place in N.A. Music Institute in Tehran. This event was organised under honorary patronage of Polish Embassy in Tehran.

Music Academy in Krakow, Poland

Martyna Kosecka will lead a symphonic orchestra of Music Academy in Krakow on her bachelor diploma concerto from conducting faculty. She will perform “Suite of space” for 17 instruments (2006) by Anna Zawadzka-Gołosz and “Piano Concerto” (1993) by Ivan Fedele. A special soloist of this evening will be Geert Callaert from Belgium.

Music Academy in Krakow, Poland

During a first of two composers’ concerts accompanying National Student-Doctorate Scientific Conference ELEMENTI II. SPACE – TIME we will hear a performance of Martyna Koseckas’ ImPulsus for an instrumental ensemble. This piece has been awarded on IV Zygmunt Mycielski Composers’ Competition of Youth Composers’ Circle next to the Polish Society of Composers and premiered during 56. International Festival for Contemporary Music Warsaw Autumn 2013. In Cracow ImPulsus will be performed by Lutoslawski Orchestra Moderna with Błażej Wincenty Kozłowski as a conductor.
