We invite for a short speech and a screening of Idin Samimi Mofakham’s opera “At the waters of Lethe”, where Martyna Kosecka had a pleasure to prepare libretto and electronic layer. The speech will describe the subject of the opera from the perspective of composer and a librettist.
Event is organized by Contemporary Music Circle at TMOCA.

Martyna Kosecka will give a lecture “From the scratch to planned improvisation techniques”, which is a part of a theater workshops on the limits of improvisation in art.

A premiere of Idin Samimi Mofakham’s opera “At the waters of Lethe”, where Martyna Kosecka prepared the libretto and live electronics part, will take place at Cooltour scene in Ostrava at 6.00 PM.
The opera has been commissioned by New Opera Days Ostrava Festival.

Dale Tsang, a member of E4TT Ensemble from San Francisco will premiere the newest composition by Martyna Kosecka, Nepheles for piano. The piece has been commissioned by E4TT.
Concert takes place as a part of the Festival of Culture Krakow.

Both with conductor Maciej Piątek, Martyna Kosecka will lead a conducting diploma concert in Silesian Philharmonic. In repertoire all the pearls of Russian classical music.

Martyna Kosecka will take part in concert of conducting students of Music Academy in Katowice, ending a 3-day workshop with Silesian Philharmonic Orchestra. She will perform first and second movement from Felix Mendelssohn’s III Symphony “Scotish”. Entrance free.

Martyna Kosecka will actively participate in International Contemporary Music Fesitival in Tehran, both as an organizer of events, as well as the performer and composer during the one-week meeting with contemporary music.
