Zīj (Persian: زيج‎) applied to astronomical books in Arabic and Persian that tabulate parameters used for astronomical calculations of the positions of the Sun, the Moon, stars, and the five planets of antiquity. The project Zīj by SpectroDuo is a tribute to the legacy of all the astronomical thought that progressed the state of knowledge about the universe.
