Martyna Kosecka will be one of composer-residents during Institute and Festival Ostrava Music Days 2015.
She will take part in masterclasses with such composers as Peter Ablinger, Richard Ayres, Bernhard Lang, Alvin Lucier, Phill Niblock, Jennifer Walshe, Christian Wolff and many others.
25 August, during a concert of Ostrava Music Days 2015 Festival at 10.00 PM there will be a premiere of her composition – Sial – for bassoon and piano.Concert will take place in concert hall of Ostrava Philharmony.

During The 2015 York Spring Festival of New Music will be a world premiere of Martyna Kosecka’s work for piano solo “Cogita!” from 2012.

Martyna Kosecka’s piece “Kochawaya” among other nine compositions, has been selected to the finals of “the 5-Minute Opera Competition”, taking place at the Music Biennale Zagreb in April.

Visby International Center for Composers, Sweden
SpectroDuo, an improvised music ensemble consisting of Martyna Kosecka and Idin Samimi Mofakham, will stay on three-week artistic residency at Visby International Center for Composers.
Musicians will work on music material for new series of improvising concerts, using native Iranian instruments and music-toys as a base of their new project.

During a first of two composers’ concerts accompanying National Student-Doctorate Scientific Conference ELEMENTI II. SPACE – TIME we will hear a performance of Martyna Koseckas’ ImPulsus for an instrumental ensemble. This piece has been awarded on IV Zygmunt Mycielski Composers’ Competition of Youth Composers’ Circle next to the Polish Society of Composers and premiered during 56. International Festival for Contemporary Music Warsaw Autumn 2013. In Cracow ImPulsus will be performed by Lutoslawski Orchestra Moderna with Błażej Wincenty Kozłowski as a conductor.
